Squire Energy wins Top Considerate Contractor Award

We are delighted to announce that Squire Energy has been awarded a Highly Commended Gold Award in the City of London Considerate Contractor Streetworks Scheme 2020. This marks the highest award that can be given by the City, going one further than our Gold award win in 2018, and making us the first utility company with a Section 50* licence to win the award at this level.

The Considerate Contractor awards ceremony, which celebrates excellence in the construction sector, was due to take place earlier this year in May but was unfortunately cancelled due to Covid-19. Instead, our Project Planner, Sam Sneyd, collected the award in London and brought it back to take pride of place at our head office in Epsom, after the winners were formally announced last week.

“We’re thrilled that Squire’s work has been recognised by City of London once again, and to have been awarded the top award in the Considerate Contractor Streetworks Scheme,” says Squire’s Senior Project Manager, Stuart Thomas, “This is another prestigious award for us and a great achievement for our whole team and particularly all those in planning and operations. The award reflects the high standard of work we hold ourselves to, as well as the continued dedication and professionalism of all our staff.”
