What’s your job title?
What does your job involve?
Providing technical support to the team, liaising with service providers, manufacturers and addressing any client issues.
What’s your background?
I started out in the building trade until about 10 to 11 years ago when I started working as a Gas Governor Trainee for engineering consultancy Multi Tech. The role included National Grid governor installations, undertaking routine maintenance and installing pressure profiling equipment. I stayed with the business through several acquisitions – first by Capita and then T&K Gallagher – eventually becoming a Regional Supervisor, managing the southern team, providing reactive and routine maintenance support, technical queries, auditing, training assistance, surveys, procurement, quotations and assisting with project and asset conditioning works for NGM.
I have also completed NVQ diplomas in Engineering Maintenance and Volume Correctors, and I’m currently studying for a bachelor’s degree in Engineering with the Open University, working towards becoming an Incorporated member of IGEM.
Why Squire Energy?

What’s your favourite part of your job?
Developing professional relationships with service providers and manufacturers, and acquiring and sharing knowledge, with everyone working towards the same objective.
What do you enjoy doing in your spare time?
As I’m completing my university course, I spend a lot of time studying at the moment, but away from the desk I enjoy going on beach walks with the family and making pizza and pasta.
If you had to describe yourself in three words, what would they be?
Driven, enthusiastic and hard-working.
