Metering Coordinator


What does your job involve?

Liaising with gas service providers to arrange meter installations and exchanges, and dealing with everything else along the way.


What’s your background?

I’ve worked in retail, customer services, and account management, ranging from parcel deliveries to secure document shredding. The last four years I worked for Network Plus, where I started on the United Utilities water contract before moving over to the gas side of the business, managing a specific geographical territory. This involved planning new meter installs and maintenance work, but also managing gas emergencies being called in, so I had to be both reactive and proactive and good at prioritising.


Why Squire Energy?

Squire is a fast-growing company and I wanted to be on board to grow with them and develop myself.


What are you most looking forward to in your job?

I love being able to build new relationships, both internally and externally, and I am looking forward to building my knowledge of the gas industry and seeing where it takes me. I also really like that I’m learning something new and different almost daily, which keeps me challenged and helps me grow my skillset.


What do you enjoy doing in your spare time?

I love reading (preferably on a sun lounger!), socialising and entertaining friends and family, getting together for food and drinks, being out and about and visiting new places, and walking the dog.


If you had to describe yourself in three words, what would they be?

Driven, compassionate and kind.
