Jordan Rowbottom nominated for iGEM award

We’re excited to announce that Squire Energy’s very own Head of Asset Management, Jordan Rowbottom, was nominated for IGEM & EUA Gas Industry’s Young Persons’ Achievement Award. The illustrious awards ceremony took place at London’s prestigious Park Lane Hilton on 15th May, where over 600 gas industry professionals came together to celebrate the achievements of the industry.

With a judging panel comprised of leading figures from the transmission, distribution and downstream gas sectors, a tough criteria and even tougher competition, Jordan was pipped to the post, but his nomination is still a significant achievement, with over 120 entrants to the awards. “Just being nominated for the IGEM Young Persons’ Achievement Award is a massive honour, and huge congratulations to the winner,” says Jordan, “My career in the gas industry has given me so many incredible opportunities and prospects, and I’m looking forward to what the future will bring.” And the future is certainly looking bright for Jordan, as he has just qualified as Chartered Engineer.

Stuart Thomas, Director of Squire Energy says, “Jordan’s nomination was well deserved; since joining the company last, he’s been an absolute asset and we’re thrilled to have him as part of the team at Squire Energy.”

Steve Edwards, IGEM President and Chair of Judges said, “The entrants have excelled once again in demonstrating their professionalism and we are reminded just how fortunate we are to have so many talented people working in our industry.”
