A prestigious, innovative, high quality development comprising 72 residential units and offices some over basements from three to six stories in height, in three blocks, served by two central plant rooms.
Working with the project management team at Ardmore Construction Ltd, closely in conjunction with MTT and Quinn Ross the M&E consultants, Squire Energy Ltd prepared a detailed scope and full gas infrastructure design and subsequently carried out a complex new connection in Highbury Grove, liaising closely with LB Islington highways dept. ensuring minimal traffic disruption, particularly bearing in mind the proximity of the works to the Arsenal Stadium and the need to keep all traffic flow unhindered on and around match days.
The new gas infrastructure works were comprised of a MDPE gas main along Ardmore Lane to within the development, continuing on and terminating with bespoke welded steel pipework and two individual supplies to serve the gas plant rooms.
This challenging project was completed ahead of programme, on budget and to the satisfaction of all concerned throughout.
